A MESSAGE FROM STATE REP. STAN GERDES

Texans deserve leaders who will put America, and Texas, first. That’s why I’ve worked hand-in-hand with leaders who share our commitment to border security, energy independence, and standing up to Washington overreach. Together, we’ve advanced an America First agenda focused on protecting Texas families, strengthening our economy, and defending our constitutional freedoms.

The good news is this: our conservative principles are delivering results.

In the 89th Legislative Session, I delivered real results for Texas families by:

• Cutting $51 billion in property taxes — the largest tax cut in Texas history — and I’m ready to cut them again.
  

• Securing the Border - we’re building the wall the Biden-Harris Administration tried to stop and holding the line against illegal immigration, drug cartels, and human traffickers.
  

• Protecting children - I voted to stop gender modification surgeries on minors, ban sexually explicit drag shows for kids, and defend girls’ sports and locker rooms.
  

• Keeping Texans safe - We passed major bail reform to keep violent offenders off our streets and stop liberal cities from paying criminals’ bail with taxpayer dollars.
  

• Ensuring election integrity: We made sure only U.S. citizens can vote in Texas elections and cleaned up voter rolls to keep our elections secure.
  

• Protecting medical freedom: We banned COVID-19 vaccine discrimination and guaranteed Texans’ right to make their own medical decisions.
  

• Standing up to China: We banned foreign adversaries like China, Iran, and North Korea from buying Texas land or investing in our economy.

• Defending Texas values: We ended DEI mandates in our universities and passed laws to stop the sexualization of children in schools and online.

• Securing our future: We made historic investments in water infrastructure and the Texas electric grid to ensure reliability and independence for generations to come.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but the fight isn’t over. The radical left is doubling down on failed policies that threaten our border, our freedoms, and our very way of life.
